IOT - The new lifeline for a data-driven world

The world has changed from Internet to Internet of Things in short called IoT.Internet of Things is now getting boosted and from AI thinking it is changing to IoT.As i also was guessing, What is IoT ? It is an ecosystem of connected physical objects that are accessible through the internet.The ‘thing’ in IoT can be a person with a heart monitor or an automobile with built-in-sensors.The embedded technology in these objects helps them to interact with internal states or the external environment, which in turn affects the decisions taken.The business value of the Internet of Things is expanding rapidly, enriching industries as diverse as farming, appliances, automobile etc...IoT platforms is helping organizations in reducing cost through improved process efficiency, asset utilization and productivity. With improved tracking of devices/objects using sensors and connectivity, they can benefit from real-time insights and analytics, which would help in makeing smarter decision. In the latest study by McKinsey’s predicted that the economic value of IoT could be as much as $11 trillion by 2025.Amazon,Google,Microsoft,Tesla are now the research on IoT devolopments they are using devoping new new things that change life.Amazon AWS is providing IoT devolopment services .Microsoft created a paltform named Windows IoT an operating system that is designed for use in embedded systems.Tesla automobile is a big example of the Internet of Things and potential problems and benefits of this idea.
